Silent runtime auto-update: hep-network, hep-build, hep-search, hep-call, and related slash/prompt commands now start a fail-silent background update check at most once per day.
Installed adapter refresh: runtime updates now refresh already-installed Claude, Codex, Gemini, Antigravity, Cursor, OpenCode, and AgentSkills command/skill adapters from the release tarball without installing missing runtimes.
Opt-out remains explicit: auto-update is on by default; set HEPHAESTUS_AUTO_UPDATE=0 to disable it. Existing HEPHAESTUS_UPDATE_CHECK=0 is still respected.
