v0.8.0 - 2026-05-11 - MAJOR omnibus (the wager-refined release)

Replaces v0.7.10 at _canon.yaml::contract_version. Issued via the
myco molt --contract v0.8.0 agent-callable verb.
synced_contract_version is updated in lockstep. Crosses MINOR
boundary v0.7.x → v0.8.0; this is Myco's first MAJOR release in
the modern sense — an L0-amending release that exercises the just-
amended wager (persistence-budget refinement) by shipping production
federation alongside the engineering closures.

What changed

L0 amendment (commit 783da78): docs/architecture/L0_VISION.md
§ "Appendix — Living bets" wager wording refined per
docs/primordia/v0_8_0_living_bets_amendment_2026-05-10.md.
Two regimes (bet-winning / bet-losing) named explicitly. Owner
ratification recorded inline ("选择 B，那么拜托了！").

Schema: v3 → v4 (additive). New optional fields
system.governance.last_living_bets_audit_at (ISO 8601) and
system.governance.persistence_metrics: {session_count, host_count, peer_count}.
anamorph subagent's second production exercise. Migration guide:
docs/migration/v0_7_x_to_v0_8_0.md.

Lint: 51 → 52 dims. LB2 Living-Bets-regime classifier
(semantic/LOW). Fires on ephemeral substrates (peer_count == 0 AND
session_count < 5); silent on bet-winning regime (peer_count ≥ 1 OR
session_count ≥ 50).

Adapters: 10 → 13. New myco[multimedia] extras: audio.py
(whisper transcription), image_ocr.py (pytesseract), video_frames.py
(opencv + tesseract). Lazy import + failed-stub returns when extras
absent. Default install unchanged in size; opt-in via
pip install 'myco[multimedia]'.

Federation production peer: _canon.yaml::identity.federation_peers
now ["C:/Users/10350/Desktop/CC"] — first real downstream peer
substrate (cc-debug; germinated 2026-05-11). Verified by E2E propagate
run that wrote 5 distilled retrospectives from myco-self → CC's
notes/raw/ inbox with proper source + propagated_at frontmatter.

OAuth 2.1 production hardening: 4 v0.7.10 IOU gaps closed. Launcher
CLI host/port/mount-path no longer dead code; MycoOAuthProvider
wired into build_server with env var + canon governance config sources;
configure_logging_redaction now invoked on uvicorn/mcp/starlette loggers
when redaction required. docs/iou/v0_7_10_streamable_http_gaps.md
moved to _archive/.

Operational debt (4 DC2 docstrings + 4 SE1 dead-links + 1 CG1
cold-start) closed per the v0.7.10 omnibus's residual sweep.

Test count delta

1710 → 1799 (+89 from new adapters, LB2, schema v4 upgrader,
federation E2E, OAuth production tests, multimedia mock-tests).

Lint state

immune exit_code 0. Findings: LOW only (DC2 + SE2 informational).
Zero HIGH. Zero MEDIUM.

Cloud delta

• PyPI: myco-0.8.0-py3-none-any.whl + myco-0.8.0.tar.gz via
  trusted-publisher OIDC.
• MCP Registry: io.github.Battam1111/[email protected] server card via
  github-oidc, isLatest=true.
• GitHub Release: v0.8.0 with myco-0.8.0.zip (Cowork drag-drop bundle).

Break from v0.7.10

L0: wager wording refined (additive — old analogy preserved as
supporting evidence; new persistence-budget framing added).

Schema: v3 → v4 additive only. No deletions. v3 substrates
auto-upgrade in-memory on next load_canon call.

Internal: myco.boundary.surface.mcp_auth adds
load_oauth_provider_from_env_or_canon, load_canon_governance,
build_fastmcp_auth_kwargs, MycoIntrospectionTokenVerifier,
install_redaction_filter_on_loggers as new public API. Existing
public API preserved.

Surface contract: no breaks. All 20 verbs, all CLI flags, all
MCP tool shapes preserved. Default install (pip install myco[mcp])
unchanged in size or capability. Opt-in extras new
(pip install 'myco[multimedia]').

Operator-facing migration: zero action required. v3 canons
auto-upgrade transparently to v4 on next load_canon. v0.7.x kernels
read v4 canons with a single UserWarning per the v0.5 forward-
compat contract.
