Full changelog
v0.8.1 - 2026-05-11 - Format-drift hotfix (CI-only)
Replaces v0.8.0 at _canon.yaml::contract_version. Issued via the
myco molt --contract v0.8.1 agent-callable verb.
synced_contract_version updated in lockstep.
What changed
Pure-format hotfix. v0.8.0 CI (run 25633978102) failed
ruff format --check on three files that were edited AFTER the
local ruff format pass during v0.8.0 prep:
src/myco/boundary/surface/mcp_auth.py(urllib.parse fix)tests/unit/ingestion/adapters/test_audio.py(D subagent's file)tests/unit/ingestion/adapters/test_video_frames.py(× → x RUF003 fix)
Each had a small format drift (line continuation / trailing whitespace
/ similar). ruff format re-applied; net diff ~6 insertions / 10
deletions. Zero behavior change; zero test changes; zero new finding;
no API drift.
Per docs/architecture/L2_DOCTRINE/release_discipline.md § Rule 1
(Two-Hour Blast-Radius), hotfixes within the MAJOR window are
unrestricted; hotfix release type is HONEST and self-identifies as
"hotfix" in commit + changelog + craft naming. v0.8.1 honors this
discipline.
Break from v0.8.0
None. Pure formatting; no symbol added, removed, or changed.
v0.8.0 → v0.8.1 is a CI-badge-green hotfix; downstream substrate
operators consuming v0.8.0 do NOT need to upgrade. PyPI / MCP
Registry / GitHub Release will re-publish v0.8.1 because the release
pipeline is tag-driven; the new artifacts are byte-identical to
v0.8.0 except for the 3 reformatted files + version bump.

About Battam1111/Myco
Agent-first cognitive substrate with 18 manifest-driven verbs (germinate / eat / assimilate / sporulate / traverse / immune / molt / …) and 25 lint dimensions enforcing contract invariants mechanically (R1–R7). Cross-session / cross-project memory via a self-validating filesystem graph — AST + markdown-link derived, not embedding-based. Provider-agnostic by design: MP1/MP2 dims forbid LLM-SDK imports in the kernel and plugin tree. Editable-default install. Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed, VS Code, and any MCP client.
