Expanded public API surface: export discovery protocol constants
(PROTOCOL_VERSION, REGISTRY_KEY, PROTOCOL_KEY, HEARTBEAT_KEY_PREFIX,
DEFAULT_HEARTBEAT_INTERVAL_MS, HEARTBEAT_TTL_SECONDS) and the
MarkerMetadata type for consumers building on the discovery registry.
Added a runnable examples guide (examples/README.md) covering every adapter
and major feature.
