Full changelog
Highlight: Standalone installs (Claude Desktop, claude.ai) now tell you which version you're running. Every standalone skill description carries a Standalone build v1.7.0 — check …/releases for updates and use the Skills UI's Replace option to upgrade in place tail, read from plugin.json at build time so it can't drift from the actual build. Plugin-install users already get update awareness via /plugin update; this closes the same gap for the upload-a-ZIP path, where the platform offers no update notification at all.
The README also documents the Replace flow (skill detail → ⋮ → Replace) — it upgrades a standalone skill in place while preserving in-progress chats, which the old "uninstall + reinstall" wording missed — and is honest about the platform having no push notifications, listing the two opt-in channels instead: GitHub Watch → Custom → Releases, and the Atom feed at /releases.atom.
The MINOR bump (1.6.3 → 1.7.0) reflects that surfacing the installed version is new user-visible behaviour reachable in the Skills UI, not just README prose.
