Summary
AI summaryIn-app update now reliably refreshes the Homebrew tap, upgrades after full quit, and shows the current version in Settings.
Full changelog
Patch release.
What's new
- In-app update is now reliable. Pressing Update refreshes the Homebrew tap first, upgrades after the app fully quits, and reliably relaunches the new version. Fixes a case where the app would just quit without updating.
- Current version is shown at the bottom of Settings, so you can confirm an update applied.
Note for users currently on 2.0.2
The fix lives in the updater itself, so 2.0.2's (older) updater can still fail. Upgrade once from Terminal, then in-app updates work going forward:
brew update && brew upgrade --cask poke-token-bar
Install
brew install --cask chattymin/tap/poke-token-bar
Requires ccusage on your PATH (npm install -g ccusage). macOS 14+.
