• 329 evolution lines (600+ Pokémon) — the hatch pool is no longer a curated list. Any Gen 1–5 line can hatch, fetched live from PokéAPI.
• Weighted by the official capture rate — commons like Caterpie hatch often, starters are uncommon treats, and a legendary is a genuine 1-in-129 event.
• Uncollected lines get a boost — bases already in your Pokédex hatch at half weight, so your collection keeps growing.

⚡ Instant hatching

• Egg prefetching — while your egg incubates, the app pre-rolls the species and warms its evolution line and sprites (shiny included). The moment the egg cracks, your Pokémon appears with zero delay — even offline at that moment.

Under the hood

• Species index comes from PokéAPI GraphQL in a single query, cached for 30 days; hatching falls back gracefully when offline (egg progress is never lost).
