Reitti v5.1.0: FIT File Support and Map Improvements

I am excited to announce the release of reitti v5.1.0. This update brings a long-awaited file format integration and important fixes for the core tracking experience.

New Features & Improvements

• FIT File Support: You can now import .fit files directly into reitti. This adds native support for data from a wider variety of fitness trackers and cycling computers, making it easier to consolidate your activity data in one place.
• Map Rendering Fix: Resolved an issue where location data was being successfully received and ingested by the server but occasionally failed to load the job definition and finally failed to update the map. This fix ensures your incoming points appear in real-time as expected.

• Translation Updates: A big thank you to the team of our translators for the latest updates.

A Little Help from the Community

As I move forward, I am planning to phase out my involvement with social media platforms, particularly Reddit, to focus my time more effectively on project development and direct community interaction (like Lemmy and IRC).
