Summary

AI summary

Fixed scan.exclude being honored by taint and auth-coverage walkers.

Full changelog
  • CVE filter regex tightened: the comment + string-literal skip exemption is now CVE-only (VG900-VG931). Modern-stack VG9xx rules (VG983/VG990/VG992/VG998 etc.) no longer false-positive on their own pattern names appearing in doc-strings or comments.
  • Rule-def file detection extended to the secrets and taint analyzers (was code-only); framework guides treated the same way — pattern strings inside rule definitions no longer trigger findings on themselves.
  • Walker bug fix: scan.exclude is now honored by the taint and auth-coverage walkers (was code-section-only). Also tighter VG020 (skips engines block), VG152 (drops over-generic data/input varnames), VG144/145 (display-string props), VG153 (newline-aware ReDoS span).
