Community

v0.1.4 is a community-shaped release.

A big thanks to @jakedev796, who became Tessera's first external contributor and helped exercise real Windows/Electron desktop workflows. Their reports and PRs improved split-panel chat behavior, PR detection, and the new pop-out board workflow across multiple windows.

This is exactly the kind of contribution we want Tessera to support: focused reports from real usage, clear reproduction notes, practical fixes, and follow-up polish.

Highlights

Pop-out Kanban board

Tessera's board view can now open in a dedicated Electron window, making it easier to keep project/task state visible while working in the main chat workspace.

Thanks to @jakedev796 for the initial implementation in #14 and the follow-up polish in #20.

More reliable GitHub PR detection

PR detection is now more reliable, especially when work happens outside Tessera through gh, VS Code, or another terminal. Tessera now refreshes PR state on focus, polls more frequently, avoids dropping known PR state during transient gh failures, and supports PR detection for bare sessions without a Kanban task.

Thanks to @jakedev796 for reporting the issue and landing the fix in #18.

Split-panel chat autoscroll fix

When multiple chat sessions are open side by side, unfocused but visible panels now continue following streaming output instead of getting stuck until clicked.

Thanks to @jakedev796 for the focused fix in #17.

Other Changes

  • Added CLI diagnostics for Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode.
  • Added configurable managed-worktree path templates.
  • Improved WSL and agent-environment path handling.
  • Scoped runtime controls to the active session.
  • Preserved startup slash commands for OpenCode sessions.

These updates were promoted from dev in #25.

New Contributor
