Tessera v0.2.1
Tessera v0.2.1 expands terminal command support, shows Claude task progress in chat, and adds easier access to provider instructions and memory.
Highlights
Expanded Terminal Command Support
Claude Code commands that require an interactive terminal, such as /mcp, /login, and /hooks, now open in a split terminal with the command prefilled.
Codex commands are now routed to native Tessera actions or a Codex terminal as appropriate. /fork creates an independent Tessera session, while rename, archive, restore, and delete stay synchronized with the Codex thread.
Live Claude Task Progress
Based on user feedback, Claude task and todo progress is now shown above the chat composer and updated in real time.
The task list is restored after reconnecting or reopening a session and closes automatically when all tasks are complete.
Provider Context and Memory
The Context tab now shows each provider's global instructions, repository instructions, and memory files.
These files can be opened and edited directly in Tessera for Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode.
Live Workspace File Updates
The Files panel and open file tabs now update automatically when files are added, modified, renamed, or deleted outside Tessera.
Folders can also be opened directly in Finder or Explorer from the Files panel.
Workspace State Restoration
Tessera now restores the selected project, All Projects state, filters, tabs, and panel layout after restarting the desktop app.
Session Navigation
Selecting an already-open session now moves to the correct tab and panel and focuses the chat composer.
Opening a session from a notification no longer changes the selected project.
Kanban and Sidebar Improvements
Uncategorized kanban cards now show Other, and the collection move submenu no longer closes while moving the pointer into it.
Provider and worktree icons are also aligned consistently across the sidebar and kanban board.
Font Scaling
A new Extra Large font option increases the root font size to 20px. List status indicators now scale with the selected font size.
Desktop Reliability
The desktop app now refreshes Claude model configuration at startup, preventing outdated model options from remaining in the app.

Desktop builds are available for Windows x64, macOS Intel, macOS Apple Silicon, and Linux x64.
