Summary

AI summary

Major stability updates to Agent Cockpit eliminate CPU leaks and improve window restoration.

Full changelog

Changed

  • Onboarding: Session visible/hidden counts now refresh on any live session-data update (not just total-count deltas), and DB snapshot fallback now evaluates session visibility with the same active filter logic used by onboarding counts.
  • Window restoration: Relaunch now restores the primary Agent Sessions window reliably even when its autosave name was already set, and auto-reopens Agent Cockpit when it was pinned.
  • Agent Cockpit: Major stability update. Fixed the Cockpit CPU/energy leak, eliminating long-run resource creep while pinned or backgrounded, while also reducing full-list/partial-row flicker and improving handling for disappearing probe rows.
  • Agent Cockpit: Follow-up CPU stabilization now suppresses redundant HUD snapshot invalidations, pauses idle-dot pulse animation while the app is inactive, and applies stable-cycle pinned-background cadence backoff up to 5s to reduce long-run CPU accumulation without changing foreground responsiveness.
  • Agent Cockpit: Navigation and pinned-window behavior are more reliable after relaunch and while backgrounded, including correct Open Agent Sessions routing and tooltip layering above the HUD.
  • Menu Bar: Added a dedicated Show Active/Waiting sessions toggle plus a Show menu bar icons setting so live session dots can be shown independently from usage meters.
  • Preferences: Added an Advanced toggle to hide the Dock icon by switching Agent Sessions into accessory app mode; default remains off.
  • Preferences: Hide Dock icon now keeps a reopen path by auto-enabling the menu bar item, and app activation policy falls back to Dock-visible mode if no persistent reopen affordance is available.
  • Menu Bar: Open Agent Cockpit now routes by the cockpit window identifier only, avoiding false matches against unrelated untitled windows.
  • Agent Cockpit: Non-active live sessions now use Waiting terminology, grouped headers stay single-line, compact pinned mode keeps its toolbar visible, and long-waiting projects are visually deprioritized.
  • Menu Bar / Agent Cockpit: Live active/waiting counts and quick actions are surfaced more clearly, and follow-up fixes restored hidden menu bar items and unresolved Codex live presences.
