Full changelog

What's New in 3.9.2

Improvements:

  • Limit Alerts and Predictions: Added freshness-aware Codex and Claude run-out predictions, earlier Cockpit ETA markers, and separate notification controls for predicted exhaustion versus low-threshold warnings.
  • Onboarding: Replaced the Agent Cockpit slide in fresh-install and update tours with a Limits Cockpit slide covering prediction markers and Limit Alerts.
  • Limits Widget: Refreshes visible Codex and Claude non-tmux usage sources every 60 seconds, keeps Claude OAuth/Web cache and retry freshness within a 3-minute ceiling, repaints reset countdowns without requiring hover, shows a compact 5h projected run-out token in Cockpit, and warns with an ETA when fresh usage burn rate projects a limit exhaustion before reset.
  • Limits Widget: Cockpit 5h run-out tokens now show fresh before-reset ETAs beyond the last-hour alert window, so visible usage velocity can surface earlier than notification warnings.
  • Limit Alerts: Added a dedicated Preferences pane with source/freshness diagnostics, split predicted run-out alerts from low-threshold alerts, and gates prediction on fresh usage data while ignoring stale snapshots.
  • Dock: Added a Hide Dock Icon command to the Dock tile right-click menu.

Reminder: What You Got in 3.9:

  • Limits Widget: Added a small always-on Codex and Claude usage window for MacBook users who want 5h and weekly limit visibility without spending menu bar space or opening the full Agent Cockpit.
  • Usage Tracking: Added shared Codex and Claude limit notifications for approaching or exhausted 5h and weekly limits, with per-provider and per-warning controls plus a 5h reset alert.
  • Unified Window: Added View menu commands to collapse or expand all visible session hierarchy groups.
  • Unified Window: Added a persistent Transcript Window toggle so the transcript pane can be hidden for list-focused browsing.
