  • Drag-and-drop reads the dropped file at drop time, not at Enter (like Claude Code). A bracketed-paste handler reads the image/file the instant it lands, so a macOS screenshot whose preview temp is deleted seconds later is still captured. You see 📎 image attached immediately, then type your message. Enter-time handling + a Desktop fallback remain for terminals without bracketed paste.
