Summary
AI summaryPro plan pricing increased to €29/month or €290/year.
Full changelog
After several conversations with users and seasoned indie devs, it became clear the original Pro pricing was below what's required to keep maintenant alive as a one-developer, no-VC project over the long run. They were right — and so the Pro plan moves up:
| Plan | Old | New |
|-------------|------------|---------------|
| Pro Monthly | €9 / month | €29 / month |
| Pro Annual | €90 / year | €290 / year |
The yearly plan still saves roughly two months versus the monthly equivalent (€348 vs €290 ≈ -17%). The 14-day free trial, all Pro features, and the one-binary / no per-seat / no per-host model are unchanged.
The "founding-subscriber pricing locked in forever" pitch is retired. Pricing is now reviewed periodically as Pro grows; existing subscribers are notified ahead of any future change to their plan, with the option to cancel before renewal.
The new prices are reflected in the README, the commercial license, the in-app Pro page, the public website, and the Stripe checkout links.
No functional change, no feature reduction. This release is purely cosmetic: documentation strings and checkout URLs. Every Pro feature available in v1.2.7 is still in v1.2.8 — nothing has been moved, gated differently, or removed. The binary itself is unchanged in behaviour.
Upgrading from v1.2.7
docker compose pull && docker compose up -d --force-recreate
No database migrations, no configuration changes, no behaviour changes, no feature changes — only the displayed price strings and checkout URLs.
