rememb --version / -V — version flag now works as expected (standard convention)
rememb rules <editor> now includes a ready-to-paste MCP JSON config block with the resolved binary path

Moved platform import to module top level (out of _file_lock)
Removed unused GLOBAL_REMEMB_DIR constant
.gitignore is now created from scratch on rememb init if it doesn't exist
Removed unused Markdown import from cli.py
Removed redundant import re inside _extract_summary
format_entries() unified in store.py — used by both CLI and MCP server
rememb_delete in MCP server now validates entry_id format (8 hex chars)
search_entries fallback logic simplified — two clean except blocks
