DataMoat 2.0.9

This release keeps the 2.0.8 user-facing feature set: annotations, bookmarks, message votes, ChatGPT export import, safer transfer restore, compressed raw archive, cross-machine restore, and USB backup copy.

2.0.9 rebuilds and republishes the signed/notarized macOS DMG, macOS updater ZIP, and Windows x64/ARM64 ZIP packages with a fix that treats stale Touch ID / Secure Enclave helper failures as recoverable instead of crashing the daemon after update/reinstall.

Release order:

  • R2 versioned artifacts were uploaded and publicly verified before latest pointers were updated.
  • npm run release:r2:verify -- --fetch-attempts 5 passed against live downloads.
  • Website and README links now point to the v2.0.9 R2 artifacts.

Verification:

  • macOS app and DMG notarized/stapled; Gatekeeper accepted.
  • npm run release:gate -- --require-mac-notarization passed.
  • npm run release:r2:verify -- --fetch-attempts 5 passed.
  • Full proof packet is still marked partial: macOS clean/upgrade/restart, Windows native/VM, Linux, old-version update, and screenshot gates were not fully re-run in this pass.
