MooseFS 4.59.2 Release Notes

MooseFS 4.59.2 is a maintenance release that fixes a bug in the chunkserver's background chunk testing mechanism.

Chunkserver

Fixed a bug preventing background chunk testing from running.

Background chunk testing was not being triggered as expected, meaning data integrity verification scans were silently skipped. This issue was reported by a GitHub community member (GitHub Issue #746). The fix restores correct scheduling and execution of background tests, ensuring chunks are verified according to the configured policy.
