Parent docstore — Remove stale parent docstore entries when re-indexing the same document (PDF, Discord, GitHub parent–child, YouTube parent–child).
GitHub — Branch URLs support slashes (e.g. feature/foo); Dockerfile / .env.example style paths included under default text rules; per-file fetch failures collected and logged; GitHubIndexResult / MCP may report failed_files on partial index.

query_tool — Default empty response_style uses PINRAG_RESPONSE_STYLE / get_response_style() instead of always defaulting to thorough.

__version__ — Neutral fallback when package metadata is missing (0.0.0+local).
Tests — Regression tests for branches, re-index docstore stability, and query style defaults.
Repo — Cursor skill renamed to run-pinrag-local-mcp-tool.
