Full changelog

What's new?

  • Sign existing certificate requests (CSRs). Bring your own CSR and sign it with one of your local root authorities — useful when the private key was generated elsewhere and never leaves the requester. CSR-signed certificates are clearly badged and export to PEM (private-key and PFX export are hidden, since SelfCertForge never sees the key).
  • Subject name and SAN editing for CSR signing matches the Create Signed Certificate flow, including script-style defaults.
  • New loading animation. Long-running operations — forging root authorities, issuing signed certificates, signing CSRs, and exporting bundles — now show a branded loading overlay so you can tell work is in progress.
  • App data now lives under a dedicated SelfCertForge folder, with certificate paths stored relative to it so your library keeps working if the data folder moves.
