Full changelog
New
- Button LED brightness now ties into idle dimming: the 7 configurable button LEDs dim to a faint glow alongside the screen after inactivity, and restore together on the next input. The status light (button 7) is untouched either way, so connection state stays visible at all times.
Fixes
- Tile drag-and-drop reordering: the drag-payload type was never registered as a proper Uniform Type Identifier in Info.plist, which could make a drag visually start but never actually drop. Registered it.
- Serial buffer flush on connect (carried from 1.4.1): stale bytes left over from a previous session could confuse the handshake after quitting and relaunching without unplugging the device.
Removed
- Haptic tick on page change — fired well after the page had already visibly finished drawing; read as late and pointless rather than as confirmation.
- Two-finger swipe to change pages — the physical bezel ridges around this device's touchscreen make a real two-finger swipe an unpleasant gesture, independent of the software.
Also in 1.4.1 (if upgrading from 1.4.0)
Brightness fade-in on connect, knob acceleration on fast turns, idle dimming, native .razerstream profile export/import, and a CPU/RAM meter live tile.
Install
brew upgrade --cask razerstream
Or download the zip below, unzip, drag to Applications, open. Developer ID signed and notarized. Requires macOS 14 or later.
Breaking Changes
- Removed haptic tick that fired after a page had finished drawing (button 7 status light unchanged).
