VibeNVR v1.19.2 - Telemetry Evolution
This release introduces a more transparent and robust telemetry system while maintaining backward compatibility for current analytics.
📡 New Telemetry Architecture
- Cloudflare Integration: Implemented a private Cloudflare Analytics Worker for usage stats.
- Dual-Forwarding: Telemetry is now sent to both Cloudflare (Primary) and Scarf.sh (Deprecated).
- Privacy First: IP addresses are processed at the edge by Cloudflare and never stored. Only the country code is persisted.
🛡️ Enhanced Settings & Transparency
- Privacy Panel Redesign: Added a detailed table in Settings explaining exactly which anonymous data fields are shared.
- Endpoint Transparency: Clearly labeled destination servers and their deprecation status.
💻 System & Reporting Improvements
- CPU Model Accuracy: Fixed an issue on Linux where processor models were reported as "unknown".
- Hardware Profile: Improved reporting of RAM (rounded GB), CPU cores, and GPU status.
⚙️ Maintenance
- Moved the Telemetry Worker to a separate vibenvr-telemetry-worker repository.
- Baseline version bump to v1.19.2 across frontend and backend.
