Dramatically simplified (for the better) OAuth handling across the board. New accounts should set up Desktop OAuth app type in Google, but there is no migration required for existing configuration. You can now seamlessly authenticate true multi-user environments via Claude Code, VSCode, MCP Inspector - anything that supports it!
