CLI Developer Experience Expansion

Four new CLI commands for industry-standard developer experience:

New Commands

  • \ urb version* — CLI version + installed @vurb/ packages table
  • *\ urb update* — Detect outdated packages + auto npm install
  • *\ urb doctor* — 8-check diagnostic suite (node, config, token, entrypoint, esbuild, lockfile)
  • *\ urb validate* — Live server smoke test with tool analysis + lockfile drift detection (SHA-256)

Shared Infrastructure


  • pm-registry.ts*
    — Centralized @vurb/
    package scanning + npm registry fetching
  • *\introspect.ts* — Shared introspection pipeline (reused by deploy + validate)

Test Suite

  • 119 new tests across 5 test files (639 total CLI tests passing)
  • Deep coverage: edge cases, network failures, corrupt data, ESM compatibility
