Summary

AI summary

Fixed vurb update failures on freshly published versions by adding --prefer-online, automatic retry logic, and reduced output noise.

Full changelog

Fixed

@vurb/core — Resilient vurb update

  • vurb update no longer fails on freshly published versions — Added --prefer-online to bypass stale npm cache metadata. Previously, npm install @vurb/[email protected] would fail with ETARGET immediately after a publish.
  • Automatic retry with per-package fallback — If batch npm install fails, retries once. If retry also fails, installs each package individually with per-package error reporting.
  • Reduced noise — Added --no-fund --no-audit flags and increased timeout to 120s for batch installs.
