What's new

Added

  • llm_fs_find MCP tool — describe files in natural language; cheap model (Haiku/Ollama) generates glob patterns and grep commands.
  • llm_fs_rename MCP tool — describe a rename operation; cheap model returns mv/git mv commands. dry_run=True (default) prefixes with echo for safe review.
  • llm_fs_edit_many MCP tool — bulk edit across multiple files via glob pattern or file list; reads files locally (free), sends to moderate-tier model, returns {file, old_string, new_string} JSON.
  • Free-model savings in llm-router status — new section shows Ollama and Codex calls separately with estimated savings vs Sonnet-3.5 API rates.

About ypollak2/llm-router

Subscription-aware LLM router for Claude Code. Routes tasks to 20+ providers (OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, Ollama, Codex) based on complexity classification, Claude subscription pressure, and cost. Free tasks stay on Claude subscription; expensive tasks fall back to the cheapest capable model. Includes 30 MCP tools, 6 auto-routing hooks, semantic dedup cache, prompt caching, daily spend cap, and a live web dashboard.
