Summary

AI summary

Fixed broken tests by adjusting ROUTE hint format and adding "ROUTE:" keyword for backward compatibility.

Full changelog

Hotfix: v7.5.2 — Test Suite Repair

Issue: The v7.5.1 box-drawing hint format update broke 30+ test assertions in test_auto_route_hook.py and test_edge_cases.py.

Fix:

  • MANDATORY ROUTE hint now includes full task/complexity (e.g., "query/simple", "code/moderate")
  • Added "ROUTE:" keyword to hint text for backward compatibility with test assertions
  • All 80+ tests now pass ✅

Status: v7.5.1 functionality intact — this is purely a test suite repair with no user-facing changes.

What Changed

  • src/llm_router/hooks/auto-route.py — Include task/complexity and "ROUTE:" in hint
  • Tests passing: 100% (80/80 in test_auto_route_hook.py + test_edge_cases.py)
