Tab navigation gains Vim-style pane controls and typography consistency between edit, split, and preview modes.

Full changelog

ZenNotes v1.0.2 improves two parts of the day-to-day editing experience: keyboard navigation around tabs, and consistency between edit, split, and preview typography.

Highlights

  • Tab strip navigation now works as a real Vim-style pane target. You can move up into tabs with Ctrl+W k, return to the note with Ctrl+W j, move across tabs with h and l, and keep using the keyboard context-menu flow from the active tab.
  • Split mode and preview typography now track the same line-height settings more closely. Heading rhythm, paragraph spacing, list spacing, and other block spacing were tightened so edit and preview no longer feel like two different typography systems.
  • Tab-focus highlighting was fixed so the active tab reflects focus immediately and does not get stuck highlighted after returning to the note body.
  • The in-app help was updated to document the tab-strip navigation flow.

Notes

  • This is a polish release on top of the 1.0 line. Vault format and local markdown files are unchanged.
  • If you are already on ZenNotes 1.0.1, you can update through the in-app updater or download a fresh installer from the assets below.
